Main information about the assistance service
As consumers, the Czech Trade Inspection Authority will provide you with
- information about your consumer rights,
- advisory services,
- assistance in out-of-court dispute resolution with entrepreneurs (ADR; Alternative Dispute Resolution).
Terms of the service use
You can use alternative dispute resolution services if you are a consumer, whether purchasing goods or receiving services.
You must be a natural person not engaged in business to be eligible to use the services.

Fees
The Czech Trade Inspection Authority provides its services free of charge.
Processing time
The Czech Trade Inspection Authority must bring the out-of-court resolution of your consumer dispute to a conclusion within 90 days of its commencement.
The deadline may be extended by up to another 90 days in especially complicated disputes.

You can communicate with the Czech Trade Inspection Authority in Czech. Alternative dispute resolution services can also be used in English.
