Dear Visitors,
Help for foreign businesses
In addition to providing comprehensive information services for local companies, one of the main tasks of the portal is to help foreign businesses navigate the Czech business environment. The BusinessInfo.cz portal prepares information on its website on the conditions for doing business and on investment and trade opportunities with Czech companies in English, German, Spanish, French and Russian.
You will learn, for example:
- how to start a business in the Czech Republic
- how the tax system is set up in the Czech Republic
- and much more.
A central version of Points of Single Contact (PSC)
BusinessInfo.cz also works as a central electronic version of Points of Single Contact (PSC) – www.businessinfo.cz. Points of Single Contact were established by the Services Directive as information points for businesses in the internal market of the European Union (EU). In addition to the Czech Republic, PSCs were established in all other EU Member States and in countries of the European Economic Area (EEA) for the purpose of providing entrepreneurs with all the information needed to start a business.
Entrepreneurs will find here detailed and vouchsafe instructions on how to set up a trade for more than 180 business activities in various fields, with a particular focus on the provision of services within the EU. The instructions describe the procedure for obtaining the necessary authorization for conducting business activities, including forms and applications.
