Main information about the service
As an operator of a biodegradable waste facility, you may operate the facility only on the basis of and in accordance with the consent of the municipal authority of the municipality with extended powers. The consent to operate a small facility shall include the operating rules. If the conditions for the operation of the small facility set out in the application are not sufficient to protect the environment or human health, the municipal authority of the municipality with extended powers may stipulate conditions in the consent which ensure sufficient protection of the environment and human health.
As an applicant, you first apply for consent to operate a small biodegradable waste facility at the municipal authority of a municipality with extended powers. Afterwards, you also report the operation of the facility to the regional authority. Based on the notification the Regional Authority shall assign a facility designated for waste handling a facility identification number (ICZ).

Submit an application for consent to the operation of a small facility. Part of the consent to the operation of a small facility is the operating rules.
Where and how to solve the service electronically
Send the request to the municipal office of the municipality with extended jurisdiction, via a data box or a document with a recognized electronic signature. The applicant shall report the equipment operation to the relevant regional office electronically via ISPOP.

The operator of the facility further commits an offense by operating a small facility without or in contravention of a consent under section 64(2).
A fine of up to CZK 10,000,000 can be imposed for an offense by the facility operator.
