Main information about the service
If, after importing specimens of endangered species of animals and plants imported under a permit issued in accordance with the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) , an imported consignment consisting of multiple specimens is split, you must provide the new owners of the specimens with an officially certified copy of the import permit.
Certified copies of the CITES document will be issued to you upon request by the locally competent regional authority, in the case of Prague, the Prague City Hall.
Copies of the CITES document must be issued for all specimens imported in the consignment, the original CITES document being retained by the competent authority.
