Main information about the service
If you intend to re-export a specimen to a third country (outside the EU) under the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) and related EU law, you must have a re-export certificate for this export. Re-export means the export of a specimen that was previously brought into the EU from a third country (from outside the EU). For details of intra-community trade (within the EU) in CITES specimens, please visit the Ministry of the Environment's website regarding CITES.
A re-export certificate can be issued by the Ministry of the Environment upon request.
