The importer is obliged to mark imported reproductive material with a certificate of origin, or other official certificate issued in the country of origin, and submit that to the customs authority.
Reproductive material cannot be admitted to the customs area without such a document.

The permit is an inseparable part of the customs procedure. Reproductive material cannot be released into the customs area of the Czech Republic and hence into the EU without this permit.

How to get the service
What do you need when solving the service electronically
Application for permission to import of forest reproductive material, drawn up in free form, and a document confirming the origin of the forest reproductive material drawn up in the country from which it originated.
The application must contain:
- details of the applicant (identification number and licence number),
- the name of the tree (in Czech and the scientific name),
- the quantity and category of the reproductive material.
Where and how to solve the service electronically
You may send the free form application with the relevant details concerning the supplier and the reproductive material to the Ministry of Agriculture via:
