Main information about the service
You submit a notification of the collection of forest reproductive material; the competent authority (the Forest Management Institute) note the planned collection of forest reproductive material. You cannot subsequently apply for a certificate of origin for reproductive material without filing this notification.
Planting stock and seed units that have no certificate of origin cannot be put into circulation.

You intend to collect seeds, plant parts and planting stock from natural rejuvenation, or you intend to combine reproductive material and the collection of plant parts in subsequent vegetative propagation.

You obtain a certificate of origin, on the basis of which you may put forest reproductive material into circulation (on sale).
When to address the service
Back to topWhenever you intend to collect seed units or planting stock from natural rejuvenation from a recognised source, and you intend to further dispose of this reproductive material by selling it, cultivate it for resale or merging parts of it.
The collection notificationmust be submitted at least 15 days before you start collecting the material.
The actual date on which you start collecting the material at the site must be reported 2 days in advance (by telephone or email) to the local Forest Management Institute staff member in charge.

The duly completed Collection notification form, available on the Ministry of Agriculture website or completed online on the ERMA2 portal
In particular, the collection notification must state:
- the name of the recognised source;
- the name of the owner of the source;
- the expected amount of material to be collected
- the expected duration of the collection process
Where and how to solve the service electronically
You can use this service on the Ministry of Agriculture website, where you will find the relevant form.
You can submit the completed form via the Forest Management Institute data box or by email to the FMI staff at your local branch.
The collection notification must be submitted at least 15 days before you start collecting the material.
You can also submit the collection notification online via the ERMA2 portal.
A certificate of origin for reproductive material cannot be issued until a collection notification is submitted.
