Main information about the service
If you hold a business licence for trading in electricity or gas granted by the relevant authority of another EU Member State, you can contact the Energy Regulatory Office with an application for recognition of this business licence in the Czech Republic.
Under the Energy Act, the Energy Regulatory Office is authorised to recognise business licences for trading in electricity or gas granted by the relevant authority of another European Union Member State.

If you are a legal person or natural person engaged in business, you intend to do business in the Czech Republic in electricity or gas trading, and you have been granted the necessary licence by the relevant authority of another EU Member State, you must apply to the Energy Regulatory Office for recognition of that licence pursuant to the Energy Act.
