Main information about the service

Facilities designated for waste handling may be operated by a legal entity or natural person engaged in business having its registered office or branch office on the territory of the Czech Republic.

A facility operator, with the exception of mobile facility operators, is required to revise his/her facility operating permit, including the operating rules, to ensure it is up-to-date and complete, and to submit a report to the Regional Authority on the review of the facility operating permit (hereinafter referred to as the “review report”) for approval, within 6 years from the date of entry into force of the facility operating permit, its latest amendment, or the decision to approve the latest review report.

In the event the review report is not submitted to the Regional Authority by the deadline set, the facility operating permit will expire when that deadline has passed. If the facility operator finds that the facility operating permit should be amended, he/she shall request, when submitting the review report, a change to the facility operating permit and, if necessary, submit draft amended operating rules.

The Regional Authority evaluate the review report and subsequently approves it or returns it for additions. If the facility operator does not submit or complete the documents within the specified period, the Regional Authority will cancel the facility's operating permit.

The report is sent electronically to the relevant Regional Authority via a data box or a document with a recognized electronic signature.

The revision of the facility operation permit does not apply to facilities that have an integrated authorization.

Does this apply to me?

If you are the operator of the facility, you are required by law to review the permit to operate the facility, including the operating regulations, in terms of its up-to-dateness and completeness.

It is possible to solve the service within a period of 6 years from the date of acquisition of legal force of the permission to operate the device, its last change or the decision to approve the last revision report.

What do you need when solving the service electronically

Submit a review report.

The audit report includes:

a) evaluation of the individual points of the permit for the operation of the facility intended for waste management in the order according to the requirements of the permit listed in point 9 of Annex No. 3 of the Waste Act (data given in the first part of this manual, letters a) - p), operational rules), including a separate evaluation of the individual provisions of the operating regulations of the facility.

b) a list of necessary changes to the facility operation permit or, in the event of a conclusion that no changes are needed, the justification for this conclusion.
