The Czech Mining Authority performs the supreme supervision
- compliance with the Mining Act, the Mining Activity Act and regulations issued pursuant to them, if they regulate the protection and use of mineral deposits, operational safety, securing protected objects and interests from the effects of mining activities and the handling of explosives,
- compliance with the Mining Act, the Mining Activity Act and regulations issued pursuant to them and other generally binding legal regulations governing occupational safety and health, safety of technical equipment, underground fire protection and working conditions in organizations when performing mining activities, or activities carried out in the mining method and in the handling of explosives,
- over ensuring the safe condition of underground structures.

How to get the service
What do you need when solving the service electronically
For the purposes of supervision, it is necessary to have scanned documentation that relates to mining activities or activities performed in a mining manner, or explosives handling or operation of an underground facility. These are in particular:
- plans for opening, preparation and mining of exclusive deposits
- plans for the use of non-reserved mineral deposits
- documentation of blasting works
- mining survey documentation
- geological documentation
- construction documentation of underground structures
Where and how to solve the service electronically
As part of the exercise of its supreme supervision, it is possible to communicate with the Czech Mining Authority via e-mail, data box and, in specified cases, also via the forms of the AIS SBS public portal.

What you’ll need to provide
For the purposes of supervision, it is necessary to have documentation in paper form, which relates to mining activities or activities performed in a mining manner, or explosives handling or operation of an underground facility. These are in particular:
- plans for opening, preparation and mining of exclusive deposits
- plans for the use of non-reserved mineral deposits
- documentation of blasting works
- mining survey documentation
- geological documentation
- construction documentation of underground structures
Where to solve the service
As part of the exercise of its supreme supervision, the Czech Mining Authority may be contacted by post to the address of its registered office, or by personal filing at the filing office or orally in the minutes. In certain cases, it is also possible to communicate via printed forms of the AIS SBS public portal.
