Main information about the service
The main role of a Point of Single Contact is to make it easier to start a business, especially in the provision of services, both in the Czech Republic and the entire EU.
A Point of Single Contact accepts and passes on to the appropriate administrative authorities all submissions from entrepreneurs that govern access to activities involving the provision of services, especially:
- registration or notification applications;
- notifications and reports in the area of social security from individuals to the extent stipulated by other legislation;
- notifications regarding the creation of open job positions or their filling;
- notifications and reports from individuals to health insurance companies to the extent stipulated by other legislation;
- submissions related to the recognition of professional qualifications.
A Point of Single Contact can, for example, be used to submit a registration application to a local tax authority pursuant to § 125 of Act No 280/2009 tax regulations.
A Point of Single Contract does not assess whether submissions are complete or materially correct.
